Liebes Forum,
Ich habe mir vor kurzem eine kanadische SIM Karte für mein französisches iPhone X besorgt (vom Netzwerkanbieter Freedom mobile) und dann festgetstellt, dass mein iPhone die SIM Karte nicht akzeptiert. Die Fehlermeldung ist die Folgende:
SIM Not Supported
The SIM card that you currently have installed in this iPhone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. This is not a hardware issue with the iPhone. Please insert another SIM card from a supported carrier or request that this iPhone be unlocked by your carrier. Please contact Apple for more information.
Der französische Verkäufer verweist ebenfalls auf Apple. Der Apple Kundenservice verweist allerdings auf Congstar, da anscheinend der aktuelle SIM Kartenanbieterbieter SIM Karten entsperrt sollte bevor man eine neue SIM Karte einlegt. Der Congstar Kundenservice hat geprüft ob ich eine Roamingsperre habe (nicht der Fall) und kann mir auch nicht weiterhelfen. Jeder zeigt also in eine andere Richtung.
Wer kann mir sagen, wer das Problem nun beheben kann?
