    I try to activate a prepaid SIM card which I bought for my cell phone that I brought with me from abroad.
    I'm asked to give the phone number:


    Bitte geben Sie eine gültige Handynummer ein!


    What should I give? When I give my foreign number, it doesn't accept it.
    Please help!

    Please deposit the same email adress in your account for this forum like you use for your "meincongstar"-login, so that we can have a look into your contract data.
    Do I understand it right, did you try the phone number which is stated on the SIM-card?
    Because this is the number you have to type in, the foreign number won't work.

    Did you seperate the mobile number like this 0160 123456789 and then entered the "PUK" which is printed on the sheet, the SIM-Card was glued on.

    I succeeded to login and now need help in choosing the program/Tarif. I don't' fully understand explanation in German
    I bought a prepaid card for 10 euros. I need it mainly for incoming calls and for a very small amount of out-coming calls during two months (by Sept 1). No web, no SMS. No additional payments.
    The tarif descriptions say something about one months and give some amounts that I don't understand if this means that I take an obligation to pay them additionally every month? If

    If you own a prepaid card you choose additional flatrates for 30 days, as described on this page.


    When you're only receiving calls you need none of these flatrates. Remember to deactivate mobile data, if you don't want to pay for online activities. ;)

    You don't have to choose one! ;)


    Calls inside germany will be charged with 0,09€ per minute. Just call #100* to check your prepaid account balance.

    It means, that you don't want to transfer your mobile number from your old carrier to congstar.

    Ihre congstar SIM-Karte mit der Rufnummer XXXXXXXX ist freigeschaltet
    etcBut! my phone still says: "Wrong Card". I've shown my phone at the Telecom and they told me it should work.

    Do you use a postpaid contract with your old carrier? Maybe your mobile phone is sim locked! :(
    This means you can only use sim cards from your old carrier ... in this case you should try another mobile phone.
