Data Roaming Activation Required?

Derzeit kursieren gefälschte SMS wegen angeblich offener Forderungen von congstar und fordern zum Klick auf einen Link zur Zahlung, bitte nicht darauf reagieren! Die SMS stammen teilweise von normalen Mobilfunknummern und betreffen auch Nichtkund*innen.
Unsere Empfehlung: Rufnummer blockieren, SMS als Spam melden und keinesfalls persönliche Daten eingeben.

    HI team,

    I am off to Belgium for the weekend and need data access for google maps. Is there something I must to to enable this or will it just work? Also I will be staying close to the border of Germany and holland, is there some way to lock out the data roaming during these times?

    If you joined congstar in 2013 be assured you are free to roam as you wish, data roaming and free choice of net has to be activated within your cellphone ( deactivate it for question 2 ;) ). Just start your browser once you´re out of country, you will be redirected to a landingpage where you can choose volume-based billing or an daypass ( 2,90€/24hours or 50MB whichever comes first ). No costs prior to your active choice.

    As you see in thunders post, you have to start your browser, then you'll be forwarded to the landingpage where you can choose two kinds of billing (Volume-based or daypass). The landingpage is free of cost.

    You don't have to activate any options on your smartphone.
