Cancellation of Mciro-simcard

    Sorry for writing in English, but that's because I am not German and still having some difficulty in writing in you language.

    It all started almost 3 weeks ago when I bought a used Iphone 4. I am a prepaid customer using a regular simcard with a number that ends with *30802. The Iphone however needs a micro-simcard. I called the Congstar helpdesk and they promised me to send me a micro-simcard with instructions to activate this card with my old handy number.


    1st card
    I never received this first micro simcard. Every time I call the helpdesk, I have to identify with my adress. They however send this first card to the original adress from the shop where I bought my original prepaid-package more than a year ago. I never lived on this adress! This delay took me almost a week!


    2nd card
    Then I finally receive another micro simcard, This package is included with an instruction on how to activate this card. However the online activation didn't work. I called the helpdesk and they activated the card manually. They said it might take a couple of days before my original number would be active on this card. After a couple of days I called the helpdesk again. One of your colleagues told me that "something" went wrong in the activation process, and that they will have to send me another micro simcard. This delay took me again almost a week!


    3rd card
    Then I finally received the next micro simcard which should work right away after I insert it in my Iphone (was being told by helpdesk). But it didn't work straight away after insertion in my Iphone. So again online activation (didn't work) and calling the helpdesk (again). Now they told that they "forgot" something in the activation, but that within 48 hours it should work with my old number. I waited 4 days, activated the card in my Iphone and guess what: it was activated with the temporary number from the 2nd card!!!


    4th card
    So after calling the helpdesk, they will send me ANOTHER micro simcard (the 4th...) which should work....



    BUT, I am totally disappointed with Congstar and it's technical assistance and service to customers. Therefore I told the helpdesk that I want to cancel the new micro simcard and I want to get my 20 euro back. But that can't be done by phone... And the helpdesk can't (or is not willing) to connect me with someone who can really find a solution.


    What am I expecting? That someone from Congstar will call me (I've spend at least 15 euro due to your 14 ct/m helpdesk). This person should confirm me that I will get my 20 euro back and that we cancel the request for the micro simcard. That's all I am asking right now.

    I'm sorry for the trouble you had to go through in the last weeks. :( If you want to cancel your congstar prepaid card, please use our contact form for your notice of cancellation and regard to choose the right "Produkt" (Prepaid / Internet Stick) and "Kategorie" (Kündigung).
    You really can't cancel by phone. You will receive an affirmation within a few days and your money too of course. Please understand, that this is simply the way we've got to handel cancellations.
