Unfortunately, my German is not very good, and I couldn’t find an English helpline, so I’m posting my question here. 😊
I recently ordered a DSL internet connection for my apartment from Congstar. The previous provider was Telekom, and the activation date is 31.10.2025.
I’d like to ask:
- Is it mandatory for a technician to visit the apartment for the setup?
- I already have the Leitungs-ID — would it be possible to activate the connection remotely if I provide this ID?
- If a technician visit is required, can I share my tenant’s contact number so that the technician can coordinate directly with them for the appointment?
